• Chenille - This refers to the fuzzy, soft part that makes up the patch itself. 
• Bottom Felt Color - This is the felt material that serves as the background for the entire patch and can be sewn directly onto your varsity jacket, letterman sweater, or other garment.
• Contrasting Border - This is an optional border around the main chenille part of the patch.  It can be made in either a chenille stitch style or the more popular chain stitch style.

How Our Award Patches Are Measured

We measure all of our chenille varsity letter patches from chenille to chenille (the fuzzy part) from top to bottom.  We do not include the felt background within our measured sizes. To account for the felt background on a single felt chenille varsity letter, you will need to add roughly 0.50 to 0.75 inch to the overall size of the patch.  For example, if you order a 5 inch patch, the chenille portion of the patch alone will measure roughly five inches tall; adding in the felt background will make the overall size of the patch closer to 5.50-5.75 inches tall.  The most traditional and commonly ordered chenille varsity letter size is 6 inches.

Therefore, Mount Olympus Awards™ cannot guarantee that the colors shown below precisely match the true color of our products. Return and Exchange Policy for Custom Manufactured Letterman Jacket Award Patches

All chenille patches, varsity letters, and personalized letterman jackets are custom manufactured to your exact specifications. It is not possible to stock them because of the virtually endless color, size, and font combinations. For this reason, we are not responsible for errors resulting from customer input (e.g., misspelling an embroidered name, ordering the wrong size, color, felt options, etc.). If you discover such an error and wish to make changes or cancel your order once it has been submitted, please contact us by phone, email, or live chat with one of our online representatives. We will make every reasonable effort to cancel or alter your order prior to it entering production and, if requested, promptly refund your money. If, however, production has begun, we will not be able to cancel, refund, or alter your order in any way.

Please note that if we receive the request for cancellation after payment has been tendered, you will be responsible for paying an order cancellation fee that will include, but not be limited to, the merchant fees, bank fees, vendor cancellation fees, and other charges that we incurred due to your order. The order cancellation fee will be 12% of your total order, including shipping. For instance, if you ordered $200 worth of custom merchandise and you requested that your order be cancelled before production was begun, you would be responsible for roughly $24 worth of fees and service charges to cover our bank costs, time, effort, labor, and other considerations.
