Please note that the term 3x2" refers to the height of the capital letters (3" each) and the lower case letters (2" inch) in the chenille name. This is the size traditionally found across the back of a varsity or letterman jacket. The term 2x1", likewise, refers to the height of the capital letters (2" each) and the lower case letters (1" inch) and are traditionally sewn above one of the pockets or on the chest.
